Symptoms
A better nights sleep last night, but still feel the looming vague soreness when lying down or sitting for long periods. This is the same-old "root of the tree" medial tendenitis-like feeling. I feel like it will never go away.

Definitely feel that the right-side pectineus/pelvic tubercle area is still problematic. Not really sure if it is the source of the problem or one of two or more problems.

Symptoms
Last night was a bit better. Still felt gnawing sorenes (again, deep, frontal, root of tree), but at a much lower level than Sunday night. Still feel the odd pectineal twinge when driving, so I know that part of the injury persists.

It seems that after some stressful event (E.g., running, swimming, etc.) it can take a good bit of time for my symptoms to subside (days). Today is Tuesday. The bulk of my activity this past weekend occurred on Saturday. If I am lucky, I might "feel safe" to try more activity tomorrow. But at this point, I'm not sure.

Symptoms
A terrible night's sleep last night. "root of tree" soreness all night. Sensitivity extended to lower abdomen (left and right side). Problem doesn't feel linked to the right side (pectineus region) specifically, but neither do I feel that that problem is gone in any way. Hurts somewhat when I sit for a while.

The Plan
No running this week. Maybe do some upper body weights and/or YMCA stationary bike

root of tree soreness persisted (low-level trough the day). It appears that swimming exacerbates the issue (esp. since my kids wrestle with me in the water)

Symptoms
Soreness in right-of center pectineal region radiating from area of pubic bone, especially when driving. It can be felt when sitting. Not really felt when running , but comes to the fore after activity and lingers generally. - CHECK

Root fo the tree (soft tissue/muscular soreness) deeply front and center - Sore when I sleep (supine position), especially after activity. Can be felt off and on when I bent deeply at the waist and/or twist. Can feel this when running - CHECK

Overly sensitive testicles. Slight contact can sometimes produce soreness. - CHECK

Symptoms
Same issues: Feel some soreness when sitting (right-of-center pectineal region on the pubic bone). Felt very good after Yoga session, but general symptoms continued unabated.

TESTICULAR QUIRK - I've described one type of symptom as musuclar / soft tissue soreness / tenderness front, center and deep (root of the tree). I should add that this soreness seems to extend to my testicles. They appear to be unusually sensitive. It takes very little contact to cause a twinge of soreness.

The Plan
Not sure. Forced rest. Try to find a sports/groin specialist?

Ran Firebreak on muddy trails, approximately 4 miles. Took 50+ minutes. Stretched well before and after.

Symptoms
The run was pretty good. I felt some deep, centralized discomfort, but nothing that stopped me from running. Later in the day, I was generally sore (not just "workout" sore). The problem came when sleeping Saturday night. Deep, central soreness (root of tree) made for a restless night. Woke up several times. Not a fun price to pay for 4 slow miles.

Day began well, not much discomfort while sleeping. Found that while sitting, right pectineal area was bothersome. This has not been the case as much. It is a recent flare-up since I've tried to walk/run again.

Question
I sit 10 hours/day. Drive 1 hour/ day. Sleep 8 hours/day. That's at least 19 hours sitting or supine. In reality, it's more than that. Can this be contributing to the persistence of my injury?

Woke at 4 a.m. to general discomfort (tree roots). This discomfort usually goes away after I get up. During the day, I experienced some sensitivity in the pectineal region, specifically when I drive, or occasionally (as best as I can tell) for no reason at all.

Symptoms
Still feel specific pain lower abdomen, right-of-center, on pubic bone. Can feel it when sitting and walking. Am concerned that even minimal attempt at running can cause this. I don't feel debilitated, certainly, but things are far, far from right.

In some situations, when sitting, I can feel some discomfort/strain on what I can only describe as the muscles/tendons at the root of my euphemism. This is the "root of the tree" thing. It really irks me.

The Plan
See how I feel tomorrow and make a judgement call on a 2 mile run/2 mile walk on Saturday.

Question
Should I get another MRI? My most recent one was done in Nov./Dec. 2008.

Felt specific pain lower abdomen, right-of-center, on pubic bone. Same trouble area as has vexed me for 6 months. Same area where I was injected in December. Sometimes reminder of pain were momentarily sharp. I directly relate this to the resumption of limited running (two 15-minute stints).

Still experienced "root of tree" discomfort when sleeping.

Won't try to run again until Saturday, allowing for 4 full days off between attempts.
